We are moving into cruise control now i grow in coco and use it hydroponically as i never ever let it dry out after roots establish themselves. This is important as its not true about not being able to over water coco you can and will drown plants if you don't establish the root system before feeding like i do.
I feed twice daily by hand once at lights on till 20% run off then again 3 hours before lights off i give them a top off till i notice any run off starting then they soak that shit up till the next day.
By never allowing the medium to dry out i accomplish a couple of things. Coco holds oxygen well and by giving it an extra feeding daily im flooding the root zone with plenty of it. I also purge out older feedings that can swing your ph or cause your nutrients to build up in the meduim.
I feed with megacrop its pretty easy stuff to grow with one part dry nutrient from seed to chop and a half teaspoon of epsom salts out of habit cause the old formulation of megacrop didn't have enough calcium or magnesium and im paranoid to get a mag deficiency.
Currently feeding 6 grams per gallon of water which is on the high end for their feeding schedule but im trying to push them a bit and will back off if i get some tip burn or show signs of any lock outs.
For lighting im running an HLG 260 watt kit and a couple 144.2 panels from atreum lighting to even out the 3x3 area i grow in with about 380-390 watts total for the space im in.
I also run them both with 4000k because i just like how they keep everything short and stocky i have the headroom for taller plants i just find it easy to manage them this way as my tallest plant atm is 2 feet from the top of the medium.
Anyways these are my ladies in the front we have 2 Kushberry plants in the middle and back left are green gelatos and in the back right is some mutant amnesia blueberry headband cross.

My buckets are actually from the dollar tree at 2.5 gallons and have a 1/2 inch hole in the side 2 inches up from the bottom hempy style though im switching to 3 gallon fabric smart pots next run.
Never did show the lights
@kotobide Hello and welcome to the forums my friend!
Loving the setup and girls are looking happy and healthy. Interesting to have a 1 part nutrient because plant wants different N-P-K ratios throughout its life cycle and you can't adjust with just 1 part. Im following along my friend and can't wait to see the harvest.
This is my second run with led and coco as im kind of learning this method myself as my last run i fed my plants like i would in soil holding them back and under estimated the intensity of the qb260 and singed my plants trying to push it down to 12 inches from the canopy in the end i pulled off .89 grams per watt which was far better than i run under my old 400 watt apollo hps even on its good days. now with the extra 120 watts int he room things are kind of blowing up.
I want some of that 'foil' stuff you lined the walls with.
That is what is known as poor mans mylar it's just that emergency blankets you see in emergency kits. It's cheap like a couple dollars at walmart in the camping section. It's very reflective but thin and flimsy i change it out after a couple grows.
@kotobide Thanks, ima give it a bash - I've used aluminum foil in the past. ( desperate times ) :)
@Agent Smith Right on dude im all about saving the cash and having a reflective surface can increase your lights efficacy by up to 30% that is otherwise lost on the walls and surrounding areas
Last day of week 5
The kushberry plants in the front row are dominating the space but they get to chill directly under the quantum board 260 watt light. Still feeding twice a day ive bumped up the megacrop nutrients to 6.5 grams per gallon
and i think im going to leave it there till i back off in the last week of flower as i can see some of the tips showing some discolorization but not enough to stress about.
They are starting to chunk out and the smells from all 3 strains just assault me when i enter the room now.
@kotobide excellent job my friend. plants are looking amazing and super happy
Thanks man im really enjoying this run
Last day of week 6 since flip still feeding kinda heavy at 6.5 grams of megacrop per gallon each feeding twice a day and half a teaspoon of epsom salts every other feeding. Not that i think megacrop is deficient in cal/mag since reformulating its nutrients im just paranoid and reluctant to rip off that band aid and give the new formulation a shot on its own maybe next run lol.
I moved the kushberry plants to the back so the green gelato and the mutant can get under the stronger hlg light next run a 3rd atrieum panel will even out the intensity a lot more im just broke and trying to upgrade my gear as i go along.
week 8 day 1
glad things are getting close the green galato looks like they will go at end of week 8 the kush berry in the back the pistols are all solid white still so at at least 9 weeks on those and the mutant is supposed to be a 10 week strain. Im just glad to fill up some jars soon.
Going to push out a quick run of 4 auto flowers next have some northern lights x blueberry autos to throw in for a fast run to build up some stash before my next photo run.
Just took some pics 4 days into week 8 and they are swelling out nicely ive dropped the epsom salts completely and lowered my megacrop to 6 grams per gallon. I don't really flush much i might go phed water the last couple days before i chop a plant.
The front 2 kushberry plants are really packing on the nugmeat. I think they will go on through week 9 putting on some weight they are still blowing pistils like mad and the gelato in the center looks like she will be ready by next Wednesday as the first one to come down as over 80% of her pisils have receded and turned red the other gelato behind her maybe a few days after.
The "mutant" amnesia blueberry headband cross in the back right has a while yet that ones a 10 week strain.
Healthy corn dawgs you got there. That back right catches my eye for some reason. ( always knew deadpool mokes' doob )
The back right is the amnesia blueberry headband cross its kind of a mutant and i only popped the seed because one of the green gelatos didn't break the surface so after a week i stuck her on a shelf germed the mutant and put it under the lights with the rest and then noticed the gelato broke soil. I really wanted to run 4 plants as i feel it gives them the room they need to bush out more 5 just feels weird and you have to move plants around a lot more.
But the sample i did smoke off her was a very nice heady high just perfect for some Call of Duty WW2 lol
I pulled one of the green gelatos on the last week sunday 3 days shy of end of week 8 because well im out of smokables and wanted to have something dried and ready to smoke on the 4th.
Then there were 4
Pulled down the first gelato I had hung up drying and jarred her up 77 grams off the first plant kinda wanted more i just have bad luck with plants from cookie genetics to come out with lower yields.
Chopped down the 2nd gelato hung her up to dry. I plan on doing a 2 part harvest on the kush berry beasts wedsday end of week 9 and only taking down the main center tops and letting the secondary tier of buds get some additional light for maybe another week with the mutant in back.
I don't really have a dedicated drying area to keep the stink from blowing up the house and its not ideal but i often will hang stuff above the lights to dry and it takes 5-7 days usually.
and then there were 3...
Things moving fast this last week i did harvest the main center tops on the kushberry and hung them up with the 2nd green gelato left behind these voids int he middle of the plants the lowers look pretty stacked and will flower out maybe another 5 days before i harvest the lowers.
No pics this week everything is cut down finally waiting on some weights as i harvested the kush berry in 2 stages the second half is coming down tomorrow and the amnesia blue headband mutant i hung up last night and has a week or so till ill get a weight off her.
The 2 green gelatos first one yielded 69 grams after curing for a week it shed a few more grams of weight. The second one was the smaller of the two and came in at 58 .
We deserve pics!
lol ill take a shot of some jars and whats hanging up still lol
This what i have jarred up so far have half a jar upstairs of the green gelato we have been smoking off of lol
No more plants makes me sad but now ill get to try a run of auto flowers as ive never ran anything but photos so far.
Still have a bit left hanging the bottom half of the 2 kush berry plants in front the back left and right are the amnesia blue headband cross
Nice job friend. Excellent grow and thank you for sharing! 👊🏻✌🏻
Some numbers finally
kushberry plant #1 82.7 grams
kushberry plant #2 84.4 grams
green gelato plant #1 77 grams
green gelato plant #2 58 grams
amnesia blue headband plant 72.5
that is 374.6 grams or 13.18 ounces
lights are 380 watts
So that is .98 grams per watt. Better than last run and i know i can beat that since i had a pretty lazy run and did not train aggressively or do heavy lolipopping on the plants.
Only have 8 jars atm gf was canning some stuff. I will pick up a few tomorrow and take a group shot of the jarred up harvest
