Ok so your pretty close on the day 14 it’s about 18. I never even thought this would grow like this I have been doing it very very basic because of my lack of knowledge and very little cash. i found 5 seeds in my flower from the local dispensary. I started with regular potting soil and tap water. My lights are 2 purple bulbs ones led 75 watt the other is 125 and I’m using 3 grow lights 2 are 150 watt flood lights style grow lights and a 75 watt led grow light
As you can see I didn’t have the money to spend on a grow tent so I went with a closet lined with foil.... lol it stays about 75-83 in side depending how open the door is and how high the fan is on
@Matthew Robinson this LEDs are most likely 75 and 125 equivalent and you’ll need to know what their actual wattage is. Probably around 20-40 true watts. Not bad for a first grow I would get those LED all 8” from the plant if you can get them that close. If the heat is good and will allow you too. That will maximize your yield. All she looks pretty good just lacking light if anything. But that will come with time as your upgrade your grow space. ✌🏻
Hey man so the girl is doing a lot better now thanks for the advice! So what I’m wondering now is when in Flower and getting 12/12 is it ok to leave a purple light on all night to help it or does that mess up the “inner clock”
@Duke Shaba you can not leave any lights on during the dark period. Some say green light is okay. However I’ve heard of plants going hermie from small Led red lights on things like fans, humidifiers, etc. I say 100% dark for dark period to be safe.
Hey man I wanna get a light on your site you have the V2 that’s in my price range and then I found 2 on amazon I like can you please help? I’m sorry I’m always asking so many questions.
Okay my dude. Im going to try and break down LED lighting for you so you can choose your own led grow light and get the quality you want. There is nothing wrong with balling on a budget, but understand you have to know what your buying.
phlizon 900 watt LED grow light. as with any light the information is in the product description. Well at least the info they are probably required to have by amazon.
900W Double Switch Plant LED Grow Light
Specifications:
Dimensions: 15.7*7.3*2.3
inchWeight : 5.4 lbs
Actual Power: 176 watt ±3%Input: AC100-240V, 50-60HzCore
Coverage: 1.5*1.5-2.5*2.5
ftLifespan: ≥ 50,000hoursMaterial: UV protection and fire-proof PC Cover + metal frame
so far the most important info in the specifications is the "actual power" and " Coverage area"
Why does the 900w model only actually pull 176 watts? because if they called it the Philzon 170w who would buy it? This light covers a 1.5' x 1.5' space for flowering, means you need 4 of these lights just to cover a 3'x3' flower area.... that's $463.96 to cover a 3'x3' flowering area with low quality light...
example:
Light coverage 1.5' x 1.5' = 2.25 sq ft.
Garden size 3' x 3' = 9 square foot
needed lights 9 / 2.25 = 4
I also recommend that you have 40 watts per square foot of high quality LED lighting and 75 watts per square foot of low quality lighting. So what makes a "high" quality LED vs a "LOW" quality LED? It is literally as simple as what LED diodes are being used and what Driver is being used to power those diodes. High quality LED diodes for example Samsung LM301B or the Samsung LM301H run really efficient. Meaning they produce a lot of light for each watt of power that they consume. Lower quality diodes such as epistar or bridgelux are going to consume the same or more wattage but produce less light which is why you get a smaller coverage area and need more lights per square foot.
These guys are good at marketing and convince growers that they are saving money by just simply having a misleading title "BestLight1500w". lets look at what it would cost to cover a 4'x4' area.
4' x 4' = 16 square feet
16 / 2.25 = 7.1 so we will just say 7 lights.
7 lights x $115 = $805.00
I can't possibly see any way to justify spending $805.00 to light a 4'x4' area with cheap crappy lights...
The reason the HLG330 can flower a 3'x3' flower area while only using 275 watts is because the diodes and driver are high quality. the Samsung LM301B are very efficient diodes that produce a lot of light per watt consumed. It cost $463.96 for cheap low quality lights to fill a 3' x 3' or $539.10 for a high quality light with high quality diodes and high quality driver. That a $75 difference between high quality and low quality. Can you justify to your self that you should purchase a crappy light to save $75.00 and be unhappy?
Then I contacted a supplier/manufacture and asked them to build me a light with Samsung LM301H and Samsung LH351H diodes and to be powered by Meanwell drivers. Because these two things are the BEST! That is how the BLG series was born.
So now you can get the best quality LED diodes and Drivers without the retail markup or deceptive titles and advertising.
BLG-185 Flowers a 3'x3' area while only consuming 185 watts of power and only costing $249.99
so really you have to ask yourself what your looking for.
$463.96 to cover a 3'x3' area with low quality light (low quality yield)
$539.10 to cover a 3'x3' area with high quality light at retail price
$249.99 to cover a 3'x3' area with high quality light at wholesale price because there is no retail middle man.
Hey Blg hope your doing good brother. So against your advice I got the phlizon 900 watt LED grow light. My baby girl BLEW UP from it because I keep all the little ones I had running as well. I am going to get the HLG330 off your site for my next grow. I also am looking for a company to get seeds shipped to me DISCREETLY. Its nothing like I would like her to be but for a first grow with the very basic of everything I'm happy.
@Duke Shaba hey dude doing well, sorry took me couple days to get back. I can recommend Seedsman as they have some great genetics and offer great freebie deals. They also offer great discrete shipping and replace any lost orders. Appreciate your support my friend 👊🏻✌🏻

Of course brother! Everything I know is coming from you. I had an issue with my bank not letting my by from seedsman but I paid in bitcoin. I’m waiting on 5 fem candy cream seeds and my freebies too. Which when I start it ill make sure to put it up on here so people can see what your advice can give them
How do you when you buds are done growing? Mine are frosting up a bit now, I see I was doing something wrong though, because I was still clipping fan leaves into flower for like the first 5 weeks. Another reason I’m assuming my biggest bud is the size of my thumb.
After they are done growing can you give me a break down of what to do next to start cutting and drying them.
@Duke Shaba flowering takes 8 to 10 weeks. And sometimes longer when plants aren’t in their optimal environment. Usually 63 to 70 days. Signs of a plant finishing flower are orange pistils that recede back into calyx, swollen calyx, fan leaves yellowing and dying, and trichomes heads turning milky and Amber (need jewelers loupe to see this)
Drying in the right humidity is the key to a slow dry. Here is my process https://youtu.be/yyf-qMlVXlU
Hey y’all! So here’s whats going on with my little girl. As you can see she’s maybe 3 ft tall only. I’m starting to see milky trichomes on the buds but yet most of her hairs are still white. Plus I have only 2 leaves that are starting to yellow out.
Whatever you say bro I will do! Lol... she’s finally starting to get stinky it’s a really nice earthy smell starting. I joined your patrons page too bro.
@Duke Shaba I seen that. Thank you so much bro. If you want a good example of the pistils receding back into calyx check this weeks video specifically the cbd she is ripe and ready. 👊🏻👊🏻✌🏻
@Admin BLG hey bro I was looking through the patrons page and the video for how to prune for 8 colas says it’s private and I can’t find one on YouTube. I’m sure you have one I’m just totally dumb with electronics
@Duke Shaba to have good solid buds it’s recommended that you have 40watts per square foot of quality LED. and 50-60 watts per square foot of lower end led or Hps. 600 PAR is the min. Amount of light cannabis needs to produce nice dense flowers. ✌🏻
@Admin BLG yea man I just got my light way to late I to the grow. They are looking better now that I have it, but when I get my seeds from seedsman and try out the fem seeds I have coming with proper training and stuff what I can get then.
Shit bro I’m excited AF! First why are my trichome heads turning milky if most Of my hairs are still white? Second my seeds from seedsman got here 10 days before it said!
She looks to be on about day 14 of flower? What kind of medium Lights Nutrients

thanks you
