@Piry Torres Hello friend The MEIZHI 900 consumes 418 true watts of electricity and uses the Epistar LED diodes. Basically it is the equivalent of a MarsHydro. While I don't like to knock these companies they are just using inferior products and diodes to offer a price point to entry growers. While I think it is smart to invest in less expensive or "cheap" equipment if your not certain that growing is going to be a hobby you keep.
However if you are certain that Cannabis is something you will be growing for a while or are a Medical patient that is looking to provide for themselves with high quality medicine. Purchasing quality items for a little more form the get go can definitely save money, time, and will help you achieve your goals.
Can you give us some details on your grow space ie size and how much cannabis you are looking to produce? With a little more info I think I can help point you in the right direction.
I been growing for almost 3 yrs right now im growing in a 3x3 tent. 1 plant only, i didnt expect the candyland strain to strech the way it did. All grown with blue planet nutrients.
@Piry Torres Yes it is a hard decision. You can buy anotherMEIZHI 900 and you will probably get about the results your looking for. However you'd be $500 in and the cost of the HLG now. Only thing I can say for the HLG is that it will last 10 to 15 years +. I appreciate you stopping by here.
@thehitmanoz Really? I mean it's not a horrible light but honestly it uses Cree CXB2540 which are $10.00 to $11.00 COBS... so thats about $66.00 worth of cobs, and the 5w diodes are bridgelux and epistar diodes aka the same thing in Viparpectre, yehsense, all the rest of the rebranded led lights. You feel the $949 retail price and $749 sale price are justifiable? Love to hear your input on why you love the Optic 6.

@Piry Torres For flowering 3'x3' space HLG recommends their HLG300. 4'x4' Veg & 2'x4' or 3'x3' Flower = HLG 300: https://amzn.to/2GYpb3N
My favorite benefit of using HLG lighting is that they use Full spectrum white light so you don't deal with the "blurple" coloring.
Yeah i been looking at the HLG300 for a while now. I just have to save up some more.
